If you're staying in Maui & are within easy reach of Lahaina, I highly recommend doing a boat ride to Lanai to dive the
Cathedrals. The boat ride is about 1 hour each way & it can be a bit rough at certain times of the year, especially on the way back.
The Cathederals are 2 different dives into some stunning caverns just off the shore. The ceilings are porous, so the sunlight filters through &,
on leaving, if you swim over the top, you can swim through you & your buddies' bubbles that have percolated through the surface of the caverns!
